Rating: Mainly T, will go into the M range for a few chapters later on.
Summary: If it were simple enough to save someone, they would already be saved. If it were simple enough to say 'I'll protect you', then they would already be protected. Well. Life isn't like that. Too bad--get over it.
A/N: Finally starting on the rewrite of my very first DGM fic--Pressure. I still stand by my saying that rewrites are evil and very rarely turn out the way I want them to. Well--except, this one kinda did. To read the full authors note click on the link below. But first my thanks goes out to littlelinor and meggle_star for reading/editing this (even if faulty internet connections prevented a thorough reading. At least it got me motivated enough to re-read four times and be insanely picky) so --any errors you find after all that are mine or my computers please don't hesitate to point them out. Also will add in the warnings. 

Warning(s): AU!, eventual shounen-ai/yaoi, implied lemon/lime, mentions of abuse/rape, heavy levels of angst *at times*, CONFUSION, OCs, bad language, 1st time working in 1st person narrative in a while (I'm a bit rusty) , oh and...yes--CONFUSION is in bold for a reason. Might not apply for the first few chapters, but yes it's intentional, and yes I know what I'm doing (37 chapters in on FF.net, I'd hope I would know XD). If you have questions please ask, and I will answer them to the best of my ability. The rewrite will remain on LJ only, unless I get enough motivation/responses saying I should replace the chapters on FF.net. --erm and now I'll shut up. *bows head*
